Diving Right In!

"Well this is it! The bursa challenge and i'm all ready to dive right in...I think what bursa is undertaking with this game is amazing cos there is definitely a lack of awareness amongst the young adult population regarding portfolio investment...well
for me i've always wanted to but never really had the finances nor the courage to get into it but with this game i'm given the chance to dabble in it without really losing any money...ahah...and if i do well there just might be a wad of cash coming my way...hehehe

Firstly, i ain't planning to speculate nor listen to hearsay...my strategy is to diversify into good solid investments with companies in sectors with strong growth potential and keep abreast with daily business news and read up some company prospectuses online to see if i have confidence before dumpng my "bursa"
money into them...as for now....lets find out what the budget holds for us today!"

Ah... obviously, you don't quite get how the game works.

You get nothing for "normal" gains. Even a really impressive gain of 30% of your net value would almost certainly still leave you outside the top 20.

Further, your aiming to invest in growth industries means that you'd likely buy into companies which profits grow by future financial years, with prices reflected EVEN LATER. IE, after the contest is over.

In other words, the prize winners will be the ones who gamble and take ridiculous speculative risks over the very short term.

Of course, almost all of these gamblers will be wiped out and lose everything. But, who cares? It's only virtual money anyway...

This is scary! This is gambling, isn't it? And this is also my first time leaving a comment. Can someone tell me whether I'm blogging or what. If I am, what do I do next! What's the purpose of blogs. O.K, back to the Bursa Pursuit - I've never played this game before but what jasonred79 said is encouraging. So, I'm going to invest my time, playing with other people's money. I don't know much about investment but I know that in a 52-card deck, it is possible to deal 2,598,960 different five-card poker hands. Of these, 1088,240 will contain a pair. The end.

OPM, OPM, what the heck!
Everyone is talking about OPM, so this is the chance for you to use OPM and get a feel of this gambling scene.

If you are true gambler, you will walk away with the grand prize. Else, you are NOBODY, period.

i do agree on jasonred79 said, it is better we get more sensitive on the market news lately then you are "predicting" the future earning on the selected share.
as from my experience, almost every year at this quater year end all concentrade on "blue chip" share, better as for advise you will ge more earning and grow in this 2 months time
